I am “A Voice for the Animals”. My name is Shelley Hannah and I reside in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. I provide Animal Communication and Animal Distance Reiki services for all animals (Domestic and Wild). I am not a veterinarian, nor an animal trainer.
My abilities as an Animal Communicator are natural. I am able to hear and talk with the animals, feel what the animals feel and see what the animals see. I am especially drawn to the ones who are really shy, anti-social or have huge attitudes. I use a picture of the animal and their name to make the connection. Though, I have not taken any courses, I do get together with like-minded individuals where information and experiences are shared.
I am certified in Reiki with Level Two of the Usui System of Natural Healing.
I have always had a stronger connection with animals than humans. My best friend when I was very young was a dog named “Shadow”. We did everything together.
My grandma said to me before her passing, “Shelley, you had such a huge imagination when you were about two. I always wondered, if given the chance to explore it, where life would have taken you”. This is the case for most intuitive people. Our gift is not always recognized for what it truly is, which can cause the gift not to be viewed in a positive way by others.
I began to wonder about my abilities when introduced to cattle in my early 30’s. I knew nothing about cows at that time, except they “moo-ed”. Soon, I was recognizing their sicknesses before physical signs were noticed. When I indicated there would be problems with pregnancies, my suspicions ended up being valid. Individual cows would respond to my voice. I would invite one cow to join me and in a herd of over 100 cattle, just the one I called would come.
As I started to talk about my experiences, a friend said you are an Animal Communicator. This led to reading more, meeting people and accepting opportunities to practice with the animals. I was searching for who I truly was. With Clifford by my side, I realized connecting with animals is my life purpose. Understanding the animals on a more personal level can make the difference for both the animals and humans.
Each animal has its own likes and dislikes whether it is what they eat, where they sleep, what they want to accomplish with their life, or what lifestyle they want. Animals even have desires in their relationships with humans. I had an animal, who wanted to be acknowledged with a simple hello each morning.

Another example is Clifford, who loved Cheez Whiz on toast. I would make this for us. He always ended up with three slices and I, one. Clifford had a way of getting what he wanted from me. When he looked at me with those eyes and tilted his head, I could not resist. He was always grateful. As we walked out the front door, he would take my hand in his mouth and we continued walking “holding hands” to our destination. The feeling I received when he did this was amazing. All I had to do was make him his favorite food!

My cat, Carmel, passed away September 12, 2015 in the afternoon. Late the same night, I heard him say he was okay. He told me, “You need to keep loving”. I was so happy he was okay and talking to me. The next day when I contacted him, he told me about meeting his sister and how they were going for a picnic the next day. Carmel loved picnics. Put a blanket on the grass and he would show up. He also said he had a birthday party to attend, which is when I realized it was my grandma’s birthday. The third night after his passing, I was devastated when I did not hear from him. Fortunately, I heard a voice say, “Give Carmel time, he needs to settle in”. This was Clifford giving me advice. About three weeks later, Carmel started talking to me on a regular basis.
I have been blessed with amazing relationships and have experienced True Love through my animals and from some animals who weren’t mine. During my darkest periods, the animals have helped me through. I will forever be grateful for this gift and hope others will benefit from it too.
